Texas Mamma Jamma Bike Ride

The day of the Inaugural Texas Mamma Jamma Ride was somewhat cool and overcast, but the financial results were bright and shining as the sun! The Ride raised funds that supplied over 18% of Cancer Connection's total budget for 2009. Because of the generosity of participants and sponsors, we were able to positively impact the lives of persons diagnosed with cancer and their family members almost 3,000 times. Thank you Mamma Jamma for the amazing boost in helping us to supply psychosocial support to those living with cancer in the Austin area.
The Texas Mamma Jamma Ride aimed to raise $400,000 but instead smashed through the goal and raised over $550,000!
Cancer Connection is pleased to be one of the 10 local beneficiaries that are out to change the odds for thousands of Central
Texans in the fight against breast cancer.
It's not too early to sign up! The 2010 ride date is September 25th, 2010. Experience some of the most breathtaking scenery in
Texas with a group of riders and volunteers that will make the Mamma Jamma Ride something you will remember for the rest
of your life. Saddle up and help us pedal past breast cancer!
All rider levels are welcome, with a variety of route distances for all.
